Laser Hair Removal in Milton Keynes
Laser Hair Removal For Silky, Smooth Skin
At LasaDerm, we use only medical-grade diode lasers, which have a greater success rate than the less effective devices used in salons. They effectively target the root to protect the surrounding skin and can be fine-tuned by our experienced clinical therapists to treat your skin and hair type safely. Regardless of whether you are treating the face, body or both, you can achieve exceptional results through our reputable laser hair removal in Milton Keynes.

We Use Advanced Lumenis Lasers
Our lasers of choice are by Lumenis, a global leader in the world of innovative medical equipment. They use targeted bursts of light energy released to the problem area to target hair follicles, damage them and prevent regrowth.
Their Lightsheer Duet™, in particular, uses a slight vacuum to draw skin and hair into the handpiece to deliver energy more efficiently.

Tailoring Sessions To Your Requirements
Before your treatment, our therapists who are trained in laser hair treatment will always begin with a consultation to discuss your requirements. Every client is unique, which is why our treatment plans are bespoke.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal is designed to destroy the hair follicles and limit future growth. At LasaDerm, we use diode lasers which use a single wavelength to heat the melanin in the hair and disable hair growth. Diode lasers can be used to safely treat all hair types without damaging the surrounding skin.
Can all hair be treated?
The general principle for hair removal is the darker the hair and the lighter the skin, the more successful the treatment. Treatments are customised according to hair colour, texture and location. Any hair with at least some pigment can be treated.
How many sessions will I need?
Hair grows in three different cycles and any laser hair removal system can only successfully destroy hair during its growth stage. Therefore we recommend a minimum of 6 treatments, 4-8 weeks apart to deliver the best result.
How long do sessions take?
Sessions can last from a few minutes (underarms, bikini, face etc.) to about one hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. With our vacuum-assisted high-speed handpiece, full backs or a full leg can be done in just 15 minutes with minimal pain.
Is hair removed permanently?
Our laser hair removal in Milton Keynes damages the root of the hair to the extent that significantly impedes regrowth. Most of the roots do not re-grow, but occasionally some do. In addition, new hairs from previously empty follicles are developing all the time, so it is usually necessary to have an annual ‘maintenance’ treatment to keep hair-free.
Will my hair fall out after sessions?
Yes, after your sessions, the treated hairs will fall out for up to 14 days. This is completely normal and shows that the treatment has been successful.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects from our laser hair removal in Milton Keynes, if any, are usually minor. There may be some redness and swelling around the treated hair follicles; this is a desired clinical result indicating that the follicle has responded to treatment. This reaction typically disappears within hours. Most people return to normal activity right away. On rare occasions, some blistering may occur, but this typically resolves quickly. The skin can also become darker or lighter following treatment but generally return to normal within a few weeks. Limiting sun exposure before and after each treatment will minimise the risk of complications. Some people with sensitive skin may benefit from using a soothing gel, a cool pack or Aloe Vera for a few hours following treatment.
I Love The Results LasaDerm Have Given Me.
"I had some unwanted hair on my face that was quite intrusive. With constant plucking, waxing and hair removal creams, my face became sore and rashy. After completing my course of laser hair removal, my skin is incredibly soft. I have no hair regrowth and applying my make up has become fun again. I love the results LasaDerm have given me."
