Tear Trough Treatment overview
Here is what you need to know about our tear trough treatment:
Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler, specifically designed to fill the under eye hollow, is placed carefully under the eye between the bone and the muscle. Our highly trained doctor does this using a cannula which provides a smooth even finish with less chance of bruising. The results are instant.
Our product of choice for the under-eye tear trough area has always been Teosyl Redensity II. This was the first dermal filler of its kind that had been developed specifically for the tear trough area to address fine lines, dark circles, and deep hollows.
Teosyl Redensity ll is infused with amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins, so after the treatment, it continues to rejuvenate the skin over time for maximum long-lasting results. This means that after the treatment, it continues to rejuvenate the skin over time for maximum long-term results. The amino acids, vitamins, and minerals are necessary for restructuring and cell generation, and the antioxidants are used for cell protection while the hyaluronic acid replaces lost volume and improves skin hydration.
Teosyl Redensity II lasts between 12-18 months. It breaks down gradually so it won’t suddenly disappear. In fact, many of our clients have had the results last for more than two years.
“I had been coming to LasaDerm for a while to have laser hair removal as they were recommended to me by a very close friend. I have got quite friendly with the staff as I guess you do when you’re coming in once a month to have treatments done. The thing I love about the ethos of this place is that they are genuinely honest with you. They won’t just go ahead and do treatments for the sake of it. I had been asking the staff about getting my lips one and eventually booked in for a consultation with the doctor.
During my in-depth consultation, the dr enquired exactly what I didn’t like. My main concerns were that while working in a demanding job with long shifts, my eyes always looked tired and I had dark circles underneath which I thought were hereditary. I explained that I was using good eye creams that I had bought and that as a makeup artist was really good at concealing them with concealer. While I didn’t mind the whole rigmarole of applying the concealer on a good day on other days when I was pushed for time, I was quite conscious of them. And that on days that I didn’t want to wear any makeup at all, I was even more conscious.
I explained that I didn’t like the way that I looked recently as I didn’t look as fresh as I used to and after a long, detailed discussion we agreed that by actually doing something about the dark circles and hollows I would automatically look fresh. His suggestion was to do tear trough filler to plump out the under-eye hollow. This would have a diffusing effect on dark circles, thus brightening the area.
I was told that the filler they use gives instant results but carries on working for months after due to all the other additional nutrients in there.
When I went back home after my tear trough treatment, I asked my friends if they could notice any difference in me. After just a few minutes of intense scrutinising, both of them commented that my eyes looked bigger and brighter. That’s when I told them that I had had my tear troughs done and explained what that meant. They couldn’t believe the before and after photos either as it was instant. I had literally come home straight from the clinic.
Having the tear trough treatment has made a huge difference to how I look and ultimately how I feel. Only problem now, is that I have shed loads of concealer left as I don’t have to use as much anymore!”
