What is Excessive Sweating?
Excess Sweating is medically known as Hyperhidrosis and is often a very debilitating, embarrassing condition, causing a person to sweat excessively and much more than the body needs to in order to regulate its temperature. It is fairly common in the UK, with a suspected one million sufferers, but can be solved through hyperhidrosis treatment.
The most commonly affected area is the underarms, comprising 50 percent of reported cases. However, Hyperhidrosis can affect many parts of the body, including hands, feet and the face.
At LasaDerm we offer Botox® treatments to beat excessive sweating. We offer a free consultation with a doctor.
Injecting Botox®™ into the sweat glands on your forehead and underarms to treat Hyperhidrosis is FDA and MHRA (US Food and Drug Administration, UK Medicines and Products Healthcare Regulatory Agency) approved.
Very low doses of the toxin are injected into specific glands. This blocks the nerve signals that usually signal sweating. Once you have had the Botox® our doctor will review you 2-4 weeks after to make sure you are happy with the results.
How long does it last?
Botox® injections under the arms can last for up to 9 months.

"Excessive sweating was an issue that I had suffered from since my teenage years, I tried absolutely everything to try and stop me sweating with no luck. I friend of mine recommended that I looked into trying botox on my underarms, so I contacted LasaDerm. The team are fantastic, I was very embarrassed about my issues and tended not to talk about it, but they made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that they could resolve it and they did! Since my treatment, I have had no embarrassing moments, I wish that I had contacted them sooner!"
